The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking, with the Caribbean nature surrounding the property. It was a dream come true to wake up to such a beautiful sight. Another highlight was the delicious food served at the restaurant, with a great variety of options to choose from. the beach was stunning and provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun.
The difficulty in getting hold of the staff on the first day, which made it challenging to inquire about snorkels and activities. once I was able to connect with them, they were very helpful and attentive.

The personnel at this retreat is absolutely amazing! They reacted quickly to every wish we had, making our stay super enjoyable. The description of the place was very precise, and we got exactly what we were looking for. The Castara center was just a few minutes' walk away, and the village itself was a nice, silent place where we could enjoy the fishermen activities and immerse ourselves in the local life. The best part was that it provided the perfect escape from people. We highly recommend the boat tour provided by the resort. The dinner at the resort's restaurant was good, but we preferred to cook by ourselves. There was a shop opened almost always at the beach area where we could find some food. The beach was silent and had a nice atmosphere. Although it didn't have white sand and light blue water like other places, it was still the best place to go for a relaxing holiday. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful, with comfy beds and a nicely equipped kitchenette. The staff was fabulous, and the little restaurant was excellent. We loved the presence of wildlife and the abundance of mangoes. Castara Retreats gave us the authentic experience we were looking for. It surpassed all our expectations.
